Project location: Guayaquil
Number of children supported: Approximately 130
Type of support: Education and Nutrition
Period of support: since 2017
Corporación Compartir is a non-profit organization that provides access to education, daily nutrition, and a safe learning environment for children from vulnerable communities in Guayaquil. Here, children face risks such as social exclusion, instability, and limited access to basic services. The “Escuela de Educación Básica José Kentenich” currently serves approximately 130 children between the ages of 5 and 12 and aims to deliver inclusive and high-quality basic education.
The institution provides education at the initial and basic levels and is gradually expanding to offer continuity up to 10th grade. The 2026–2027 plan includes building six new classrooms, a computer lab, a nursing area, and a Student Counseling Department (DECE), as well as installing two emergency staircases required by the Fire Department.
The vision is to contribute to sustainable social development by strengthening the capacities of families and their communities so they can fully exercise their rights, reducing situations of poverty and inequality, and promoting dignified living conditions.
With Primavera’s support, the project will fund partial support for teaching staff directly involved in the project, learning and educational materials, nutritional support during school hours, and essential operational costs required to maintain a safe and structured learning environment.
