The Tu An Shelter was founded in 1990 and today provides a loving and safe home for 72 orphans in Vung Tau Province. The shelter is financed through the sale of vegetarian food, donations from supporters, and limited government subsidies that help reduce school fees. In addition to accommoda-tion and meals, the home places great emphasis on providing the children with a stable education, personal development, and social skills.
In cooperation with Bosch Vietnam and Primavera e. V., a joint project was launched in 2025 with the aim of improving the educational opportunities and digital skills of the children in the long term. A key component of the project is the establishment of a modern computer room, giving the children access to digital learning, knowledge, and new technologies. This initiative helps prepare them for the demands of an increasingly digital world.
In addition, training courses are offered for 44 children aged 10 to 16, covering topics such as self-learning applications, Eng-lish learning methods, self-defense and gender awareness, time management, active learning approaches, and career orienta-tion. These sessions provide practical knowledge and foster self-confidence, teamwork, and initiative among the children.
A total of 24 training sessions will be conducted by 14 dedicat-ed Bosch volunteers between 2025 and 2026. Through their voluntary commitment, they help open up new perspectives for the children and accompany them on their path toward an independent future.
The funding and implementation of the project are carried out jointly by Primavera e. V., Bosch Vietnam (HcP), and the Tu An Shelter, who combine their efforts to promote education, opportunity, and hope for disadvantaged children in Vietnam.
